Join us for the We The People March, a powerful demonstration against over 450 discriminatory bills targeting the rights of LGBTQIA individuals, people of color, and women. Together, we will raise our voices in solidarity and advocate for equality, justice, and respect for all.
March Route:
Starting Point: Oak Lawn Library
Ending Point: Legacy of Love Monument
Schedule:
3:00 PM: Gather at Oak Lawn Library 4100 Cedar Springs Rd Dallas TX 75219, receive event materials
3:15 PM: Begin the march towards the Legacy of Love Monument at corner of Cedar Springs Rd and Oak Lawn Ave.
3:30 PM: Remarks and inspirational speeches from speakers
4:00 PM: Arrive at the Legacy of Love Monument for a moment of unity and reflection
4:15 PM: Head to Out of the Closet 3920 Cedar Springs Rd. Dallas TX 75219 for light refreshments and bites
6:00 PM: Event concludes
After the March:
Following the march, we invite all attendees to join us for light refreshments and bites at Out of the Closet Dallas. It will be an opportunity to connect, share experiences, and further strengthen our community bonds.
