National HIV Testing Day BBQ, Fun and Games

In observance of National HIV Testing Day, AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), in partnership with
the Taylor County Extension Office, the Taylor County Health Department, and Taylor Regional
Hospital, will host a free community health event designed to promote HIV awareness, education,
prevention, and testing throughout the Campbellsville and Taylor County communities.
This family-friendly event will provide free and confidential HIV testing in a welcoming, stigma-free
environment while connecting community members with valuable healthcare resources and support
services. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about HIV prevention, understand the
importance of knowing their status, and receive information about available healthcare and
treatment options.
The event will also feature a community BBQ, family-friendly games, cornhole, children’s activities,
and opportunities to engage with local health and community organizations committed to improving
health outcomes in rural Kentucky.
National HIV Testing Day is an opportunity to encourage individuals to take charge of their health
through routine testing and education. By bringing together healthcare providers, community
organizations, and residents, this event seeks to increase awareness, reduce stigma, improve
access to care, and strengthen the overall health of our community.
