We The People SC

AHF Advocacy, Harriet Hancock LGBTQ+ Center, ACLU of SC, other partnering organizations, Allys, and community groups will gather on the Statehouse Entrance, 1100 Gervais St. sidewalks at 10:00 am to set up organizational tables and sign up and distribute Protest materials/Information. Then, at 11:00 am, we will march and rally around the outer and inner walkways of the House grounds for 30-45 minutes, then onto the center Statehouse grounds and gather around the speakers’ podium, where the host and speakers will greet the marchers/participants.

(The March Speaker’s timetable is still being planned and worked out.)

We will close the March at 1:00 pm and head to the Harriet Hancock LGBTQ+ Center, 1108 Woodrow Street, Columbia, SC 29205, for our Monthly First Sunday Potluck Celebration from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. The day will conclude with the HHC LGBTQ+ Youth OutLoud Monthly Group Meeting (Ages 11-17) 5-7 pm.

We will provide the names and contact information of all the other participating organizations in South Carolina. We have signed on with ten (10) Organizations so far. More to come aboard!
